Stereo vision that sees doubles before they jam the line
TetraMorph is an AI-based, stereo vision 3D detection system designed to identify the presence of items — including potential double items — within a defined detection zone. It operates effectively with both stationary and moving items, making it suitable for dynamic conveyor environments.
The system runs at a refresh rate of 30 frames per second, enabling it to detect items on high-speed conveyors and make rapid decisions over short distances. This high responsiveness allows for a compact detection footprint, optimizing space utilization.
The required conveyor length underneath the detection area is determined by the size of the largest item intended for detection.

- 1.5mTypical conveyor length
- 1200×800×600mmMax item size
Trained on real parcel data from 54+ camera sources worldwide
Our DDS AI is robust to lighting, blur and item variation. It eliminates the need for extensive parameter tuning and integrates seamlessly into new or existing systems.
Six things the system does that others don't
Benchmarked against existing industry technologies, with a measured performance improvement of 50% to 80% over current solutions.
-
Real-time image acquisition and processing
30 fps stereo capture with decisions made over short conveyor distances.
-
Multi-parameter analysis
Volume, geometry and surface cues combined into a single verdict per item.
-
Dark and black object processing
Low-reflectance parcels detected reliably — the classic failure case for 2D vision.
-
Virtual encoder tracking
Item position followed without external encoder hardware on the line.
-
Image storage and remote diagnostics
Every decision is traceable, so tuning and support happen without a site visit.
-
Material-based detection
Polybags, cartons and irregular packaging handled without per-item setup.
50–80% performance improvement over current solutions in our benchmark tests.

TetraMorph DDS is deployed in live operations with active camera systems, and benchmarked against existing industry technologies.
-
Fewer disruptionsSubstantially reduces operational disruptions, including parcel jams and mis-sorted items.
-
Better singulationCombined with parcel singulation solutions, it enhances accuracy and minimises stoppages.
-
Higher throughputDeployments show smoother operation, fewer stoppages and enhanced throughput.
-
No tuning marathonRobust to lighting, blur and item variation — it drops into new or existing systems.
Six ways TetraMorph goes into a line
Drag to rotate each model. Every configuration ships as a plug-and-play unit that drops into new or existing systems.
-
Drag to rotate 01VSU — Vertical Split Unit
Splits flow vertically the moment a double is detected, without stopping the line.
-
Drag to rotate 02Induction Station Flow Optimizer
Regulates presentation into the sorter so each carrier receives one item.
-
Drag to rotate 03Circular Cross Belt Sorter
Detection mounted over the loop, correcting doubles before they reach a chute.
-
Drag to rotate 04Linear Cross Belt Sorter
The same detection head on a linear layout, for long straight sortation runs.
-
Drag to rotate 05Plug and Play Solution
Camera and CHD conveyor as one assembly — a 1.5 m insert into an existing line.
-
Drag to rotate 06Line Splitter with Detection & Action
Detection and the switch that acts on it, combined in a single module.
