High-density steering technology
Offset wheel rows on a 70 mm pitch with individually steerable modules give ±60° of divert capability and split control fine enough for consecutive items.
Individually steerable wheel modules that divide one flow into many.
The High Density Flow Splitter Type 9083 is an advanced parcel-routing module engineered for modern sorting plants requiring precise, rapid and reliable flow distribution. Built on over 40 years of engineering expertise, it combines high-density offset wheel rows on a 70 mm pitch, individually steerable modules with ±60° capability, and a lightweight aluminium frame — routing up to 6,000 items per hour with a divert cycle as short as 100 ms.
Every 140 mm module steers on its own, on a 70 mm wheel-row pitch — split resolution fine enough to route consecutive items to different downstream lines without losing the flow.
High-density offset wheel rows on a 70 mm pitch sit on individually steerable modules, each 140 mm long, with ±60° of steering capability. Build the splitter from one module to n modules to match the width of the flow — the finer the pitch, the finer the split control, so consecutive items can be routed to different downstream lines.
A robust drive and control system swings a module from 0° to ±45° in 100 ms, and across the full −45° to +45° in 180 ms — fast enough to sustain 6,000 items per hour at a transport load of 50 kg/m. The lightweight aluminium frame, rapid-release modules, adjustable supports and standardised mechanical components keep both the installed weight and the service time down, at a noise level of ≤ 72 dBA.

A lightweight aluminium frame built from 140 mm modules — configure from one module to n, and keep the installed weight and structural load low.
Up to 6,000 items per hour, with a divert cycle of 100 ms from 0° to ±45° and 180 ms across the full −45° to +45° sweep.
Rapid-release modules, adjustable supports and standardised mechanical components make service access quick and the spares pool small.
A robust drive and control architecture executes the directional change repeatably, cycle after cycle, under continuous routing load.
Over 40 years of engineering expertise in a leaner design, at ≤ 72 dBA and compliant with the CE Machinery Directive and ISO/EN safety standards.
