Versatile
Suited for make-up and reclaim duties, with straight and curved sectors that adapt to the space available rather than dictating the layout.
Make-up or reclaim, assembled in modular sectors past 150 m.
The Flat Overlapping Carousel Type 9012 is a robust and reliable machine designed to meet the performance requirements of a modern sorting plant, transporting goods and baggage within specified size and weight ranges in automatic handling systems. The carousel is modular: assembled intermediate sectors accommodate configurations of over 150 m, in straight and curved runs, and the same platform is available as a make-up variant preparing baggage and packages for flights or as a reclaim variant for collection.
One overlapping-slat platform covers both duties — make-up and reclaim — and grows past 150 m by adding intermediate sectors, with straight and curved runs shaped to the space actually available.
As a reclaim carousel the 9012 stands in front of passengers, so it runs at ≤ 60 dBA with the conveyor empty at constant speed — the lowest noise figure in the range. Overlapping slats 1,020 mm wide run at 25–30 m/min across a 1,058 mm working width, from a minimum conveying height of 400 mm, on flame-retardant Laripur 6325 belt material.
As a make-up carousel it prepares baggage and packages for flights, carrying up to 200 kg/m static and 150 kg/m dynamic load, with an operative average of 56 kg/m over the whole centre length. Modular construction means assembled intermediate sectors extend the run to over 150 m, in straight and curved sectors shaped to the space available, with inclines and declines to 9° — and fewer distinct spare parts to hold.

Carousel length is built up from assembled intermediate sectors, in straight and curved runs, to over 150 m. All dimensions in millimetres unless stated. Specifications subject to change without notice.
Suited for make-up and reclaim duties, with straight and curved sectors that adapt to the space available rather than dictating the layout.
Up to 200 kg/m static and 150 kg/m dynamic load capacity, with a 56 kg/m operative average across the entire carousel centre length.
≤ 60 dBA with the conveyor empty at constant speed — quiet enough to stand in a passenger arrivals hall for the length of a bag delivery.
An efficient drive design reduces energy use across a machine that, on a make-up or reclaim duty, runs for most of the operating day.
Engineered for continuous duty to CE Machinery Directive and ISO/EN safety standards, on flame-retardant Laripur 6325 belt material.
Modular construction from repeated sectors reduces the number of distinct spare parts to hold and pushes out the service interval.
Make-up carousels for departures, reclaim carousels for arrivals.
Collection and preparation points on high-volume parcel lines.
Buffering and presentation across distribution networks.
Accumulation between process and packaging points.
