Versatile
Works in both baggage reclaim and make-up flight operations, as an alternative to pier conveyors where buffering matters more than a straight run.
A closed ring on shaped slats — reclaim or make-up, with buffering built in.
The Incline Overlapping Carousel Type 9014 is a robust and reliable machine designed to meet the performance requirements of a modern sorting plant. Carousels are routinely used within baggage handling systems, and these incline units feature closed rings conveying baggage on specially shaped slats — functioning in baggage reclaim and make-up flight operations as an alternative to pier conveyors, for enhanced buffering. Designed as modular units, longer configurations use additional intermediate sectors.
A closed ring on inclined, specially shaped slats — an alternative to pier conveyors that buffers bags on the carousel itself, at 1,454 mm working width and a 78 kg/m operative load.
These incline carousels are closed rings conveying baggage on specially shaped slats, working in both baggage reclaim and make-up flight operations. Used in place of a pier conveyor they give enhanced buffering — bags hold on the carousel itself instead of backing up the line. Slats 1,204 mm wide run at 25–30 m/min across a 1,454 mm working width, from a minimum conveying height of 450 mm.
The carousel carries up to 200 kg/m static and 150 kg/m dynamic load, with a 78 kg/m operative average across the entire centre length — and handles inclines and declines to 9° where the reclaim hall and the baggage hall sit on different levels. Designed as modular units, longer configurations simply use additional intermediate sectors. It runs at ≤ 60 dBA empty at constant speed, on flame-retardant Laripur 6325 belt material.

≤ 60 dBA with the conveyor empty at constant speed — appropriate for a machine standing in a passenger reclaim hall all day.
An efficient drive design keeps energy use down on a closed ring that runs for most of the operating day.
Engineered to applicable workmanship rules for continuous duty, compliant with the CE Machinery Directive and ISO/EN safety standards.
Modular construction from repeated intermediate sectors reduces the number of distinct spare parts and pushes out the service interval.
Reclaim and make-up duty, including between-level installations.
Buffered collection and preparation on high-volume lines.
Accumulation and presentation across distribution networks.
Buffering between process and packaging points.
